Personal contact and dialogue are important to me and I prefer it if long-term customers become partners. We work together for the same end result, open and honestly. These are my main partners:
Hemels Publishers We go back over a decade. I love the attention they pay to detail and the quality of the images in their magazines. As interim editor and freelance project manager I learned a lot about making magazines and had a great time to boot.
vdbj_ This publishing house created Raak!, a daring concept for an in-house magazine: employees’ stories written in an almost literary style. The magazine gave a lot of freedom and room for creativity for us writers. I would love more assignments like that.
L&L A text and translation bureau. We occasionally work together on copy for technical subjects: solar power, water purification systems, exciting stuff like that. (Well, I think it’s exciting).
toolbox concept en advies Run by the impressive Karen Jochems, an oasis of calm in any storm. I interview scientists for her, professors and other academics from Leiden University and Hogeschool van Amsterdam.
WhizPR An unusual PR-agency I’ve been hanging out with since we both started. Technology and lifestyle: we shared the same tagline. Recently my role switched from one of their press invitees to one of their copy writers. Nice. Not so many trips abroad now though.
